One video I watched the guy said that he ordered the car and had it delivered from Pennsylvania to North Carolina from a broker, and he said to make sure to set the tire pressure to 32 psi cold (as recommended by Toyota). He said it ran a little rough at first because they had the tires over inflated for transport, but once he lowered the tire pressure to 32 psi cold, it made a huge improvement.

What symptoms where there that would cause you to change out evap core?

Auto idle stop kills starters. I've owed several Hondas and have never replaced a starter. Always turn of auto idle stop.

my hyundai has 67K miles and I noticed the condenser has some damage fins from road debris and bugs. how much damage would you start to recommend replacing the condenser?

I've seen something similar before, on two separate vehicles. Not the same Civic that you have here, though. One was a 2017 Camry, and the other was a 2012 Ford Falcon. They both looked identical to this, one had green coolant, however. After doing a bit of digging, and making some phonecalls, it turned out that one local mobile A/C guy had worked on both vehicles in the same week, a few months prior. We found from the service labels' branding and talking to him (small town) that he'd used some pretty off-brand cheap compressor oil and UV dye (Temu or Wish must've had a sale on that week). Also, on recovering the refrigerant and checking the system components and lines, as well as what was sucked out, both cars had some compressor sludge with tiny little chunks of metal mixed in. I don't recall it being a particularly horrific amount, but the sparklies were big enough to worry about. Whether it was a *recycled refrigerant charge that picked it up from the equipment used, or the cheap oil or dye with the new r134 damaged something, we didn't find out. Parts used were all quality parts iirc. I did notice some minor smooth pitting inside the hardlines, concentrated in the sharper bends, on the one vehicle I got given time to dig deeper on. My conclusion is that the budget oil or dye used must've been just corrosive enough that it loosened some little bits of metal and the corrosion from the dodgy oil/dye combined with the abrasion from the metal flowing around had been enough to wear little pinholes in the condenser, and then subsequently into the radiator behind it. OR, I got bad info and the systems were charged in a way that the EPA wouldn't exactly approve of.

The condenser and rad are both made of aluminum. That shouldn't happen to either of those parts. The manufacturer of the condenser probably makes the rad too. Might see an extended warranty on the rad, coming in the future.

I’ve found several tools and surprises at the bodyshop I’ve worked at for 20 years. Wrenches, ratcheting wrenches, ratchets, oil filter pliers, screw drivers, pry bars, flashlights, picks, sockets and the list goes on. Latest find was a pair of Matco oil filter pliers.

Thanks for the video, the seat rubbing against the center console was useful to me. Unfortunately, my 2023 4Runner Off Road Premium is not quite up to the quality I had hoped. Right now, I am having a rattle in the front driver side wheel well that I can't seem to track down. At speeds above 25 miles an hour, there is a rattle that sounds like a box of door hinges being wiggled around on the shelf at Home Depot or Lowes. It's not excessively loud, but it is noticeable. I do not feel anything in the brake pedal, gas pedal, or steering wheel when I hear it. The Toyota guys say they can't hear it and their inspection did not reveal anything loose or damaged in the suspension, wheel, brakes, etc. I'm hoping one of your viewers has had the same problem and can give me an idea of what's going on. ---Tom ---

hi i was planning to get eco flow river 2 max which have 126 watt max on dc output that is 10A but why diesel heater dropping at 10 A also t should be able to kick in did you find why its not working?? because using AC to DC will loose some extra battery out of the juice

Just changed it at 800 miles on my 24 is350. Definitely some shiny bits in it. Also my 18 Suzuki GSX-R 10000 R had a decent amount of aluminum floating around. CHANGE YOUR OIL. it's insane to go 10K especially on a new engine. Completely brain dead advice

Found a snap on pry bar one time pinned under exhaust and melted part of the handle and it turned out to be a friend of mines from another shop haha

you might try that trick with the 17 mm wrench where you live but in the rust belt here you will snap it off every time, get the torches out please
